In the oil and gas industry, worker safety is a big deal. However, as careful as people in the industry are, sometimes accidents happen. Workers can be exposed to harmful gasses and low oxygen situations that can render them unconscious. In situations like this, getting the victim to safety as fast as possible is of the utmost importance. Draggin’ Hooks are a new safety garment that allows for the quick and safe rescue of those in trouble.
Product Description
Draggin’ Hooks are a safety garment system that consists of an interior surface, an exterior surface, a harness and handles.
The harness is attached to the interior of the garment and provides load-bearing support during emergency situations.
The handles attach to the exterior surface and provide a hand-hold for dragging a prone body in an emergency situation.
Objectives
The developers of Draggin' Hooks are offering to license the manufacturing and distribution rights to qualified organizations. These organizations should be capable of producing the product and/or accessing the appropriate markets with the product.
Intellectual Property Protection
Draggin' Hooks is the subject of Patent Pending in the United States & Canada. Other territories are being considered on an as needed basis.
